I have had certain platters served right in my lap, sometimes even delivered by early AM CTA trips. I have attempted to appreciate certain platters, but there's a few I tossed away. Let's say tomorrow I was put on death row, to be executed shortly after, I'd be able to pick my last meal quite quickly: suzy q's, pancakes, and corn-cornbread. I've wanted one, fooled myself into thinking I wasn't entertaining many, and now I work towards a distant epic dream. I love you still. WHOO.

Walkin from Memories
One of my dearest hometown friends just flew back to Texas today.
I want to say I worry about him, but I don't.
I see in him what I do like about me, and I just hope he keeps his head on straighter for the next couple years.
On the streets of Chicago, you never quite know if a twelve year old will attempt to sell you narcotics, a wheelchair bound man will pull a gun, or if Chicago's "finest" will drive onto the sidewalk to impose their wills on you.
I'm just going to keep on walkin'

"Chicago, I'll see you around..."
I sure do love this city. We are so close, despite our social differences.
